Veterinary assistants have not been in the profession long (less than 7 years). Though they are generally satisfied with their training, they think it should be more practical and less theoretical. In addition, they envisage another profession or taking up their studies again.

Less importance is given to practical training (47%) than to theoretical training (53%).
