Reception and telephone
In the category of reception, a distinction is made between receiving clients, which is regularly required, and receiving representatives, which the majority of veterinary assistants do only rarely or never, and answering the telephone.
This is explained by the fact that the person in charge of the clinic deals with colleagues or pharmaceutical or pet food representatives. Answering the telephone is done mostly by veterinary assistants.
